Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the System Float ED—Emergency Department. This 36-hour per week night-shift position requires urgent care skills and flexibility to float among three campuses.

Responsibilities include delivering patient care under policy guidelines, documenting assessments, and coordinating with the care team. TNCC preferred; BLS/ACLS/PALS required; 1 year ER experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Florida RN license (active)
• 1 year experience as an emergency nurse
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• TNCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients under established policies and guidelines
• Plan and implement nursing care; document assessments and communicate plan of care
• Float to all three Tampa General Hospital campuses as needed
