Job summary

Lawrence Healthcare in Arkansas seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide professional care for ED patients, triage efficiently, and collaborate with the health team to ensure patient safety and timely care. The RN will use the nursing process with minimal supervision.

Candidate must hold an Arkansas RN license, be BLS certified on hire, and obtain ACLS/PALS/NIHSS within 90 days and TNCC within 1 year. Vaccination and E-Verify compliance may apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse is to provide professional care while assuming responsibility and accountability for a group of Emergency Department patients, by providing direct and indirect care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with a minimum of supervision. To triage safely, rapidly, and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with Emergency Department physician about changes in patient’s status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as a RN in the state of Arkansas. Must have BLS upon hire. ACLS/PALS/NIHSS within 90 days. TNCC within 1 year.
