Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, a Level I Trauma Center serving Hampton Roads. You will join a 53-bed ED and work with experienced teams to deliver high-quality, timely care across trauma, cardiac, stroke, and critical care cases.

Starting pay for new grads is $36.00/hour with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Base pay ranges from $41.93 to $61.01/hour, plus shift differentials and benefits.

Qualifications

• RN degree or diploma required
• BSN or MSN preferred
• RN license required
• BLS required within 90 days of hire
• Emergency Department/trauma experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced ED
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely care
• Maintain and enhance trauma and critical care skills through certification and practice
