Qualifications

• Active RN license in Oregon
• Recent ED nursing experience
• ACLS/PALS/TNCC/BLS certifications
• TNCC initial certification or within 1 year
• CEN preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and interpret cardiac rhythm strips; monitor system and defibrillator functions
• Assess patients physically, psychosocially, and discharge planning needs
• Document patient care in EMR and paper records
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for overall patient care
• Teach patients and families about illness, tests, medications, and wellness
• Administer medications and assist with procedures
