East Valley Hospital in Nevada seeks an experienced Emergency Department nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across all ages, from neonates to geriatric patients. You will assess, triage, administer medications, and supervise ER staff while collaborating with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
Qualified candidates will have two years of ER experience, active RN licensure, and current CPR/BCLS with ACLS/PALS preferred.
Two years of emergency room experience. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners for their state. Current BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred Educational requirements appropriate for meeting the age-specific needs of patients presenting to the emergency center, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, including emergency procedures required for stabilizing patients of all ages. Validate clinical skills outlined in the orientation checklist and maintain annual clinical competency. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Physical Demands—While performing the duties of this job, the employee must lift and move up to 50 pounds with good body mechanics and frequently stand. Walk for up to 8 hours, and frequent bending and twisting motions are required. Adverse/Hazardous Conditions - Potential injuries from physical efforts and chemical irritants. Potential exposure to body fluids and infectious diseases.
