Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem night shifts in Redding, CA. You will provide direct care in the Emergency Department, assess and plan care, and communicate patient changes to the medical team.

Applicants must hold an active CA RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications, plus at least one year of ER experience. This role offers flexible opportunities and dedicated support from our staffing specialists.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate required.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC required.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; ER setting required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, direct patient care in the Emergency Department and Telemetry. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Educates patients and families and supports nursing staff.
• Communicates patient condition changes and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Responds quickly to changes in patient status and treatment response.
• Ensures compliance with EMTALA, abuse reporting requirements, patient privacy, and confidentiality.
