Job summary

McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, OH is seeking a Patient Attendant on a PRN basis. You will provide one-on-one observation for patients at risk, primarily in the Emergency Department, with potential float to other units.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of patients at risk of falls, elopement, confusion, altered mental status, or self-harm.
• Promptly alert nursing staff when intervention is needed.
• Remain with the patient; may float to other units as needed.
• Accompany patient to off-unit testing areas while continuing observation.
• Communicate with nurses, patients, and families as appropriate.
