Job summary

Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Acute Emergency Department to lead clinical and administrative operations in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include oversight of staffing, program development, performance reviews, and quality improvement, with a focus on budget management and staff development. The role requires strong leadership and collaboration within a medical center that values compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• RN license (New Jersey) is required.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALs required.
• IV certification required.
• CEN preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical ED experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Administrative and Clinical Oversight: 24-hour management of patient care, staffing and department operations.
• Assist Director in assigning patient care activities for 50+ FTEs.
• Develop and implement departmental programs, policies, and procedures.
