Qualifications

• NYS license as a registered nurse.
• BSN required; certification preferred or willing to complete within 1 year.
• Minimum 3–5 years ED/Critical Care experience with leadership experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (or able to obtain within 3 months).
• Telemetry credentialed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in all phases of unit activities and supervision.
• Assign duties to associates and supervise patient care delivery.
• Serve as role model, coordinate resources to meet patient needs.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and accountability for outcomes.
• Support department philosophy and administrative tasks including data collection and scheduling.
• Manage productivity and unit activity to ensure quality outcomes.
