PRESNow 24/7 Urgent and Emergency Care in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Emergency Department team. The LPN will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced setting under RNs and physicians, with 12-hour day shifts and shift differentials where eligible.

This role emphasizes triage, wound care, IV therapy, documentation in the EHR, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (NM) or out-of-state compact license.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ED/urgent care, including vitals and meds.
• Triage assistance by gathering information and histories.
• Monitor changes and report to RNs/physicians.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, splinting as directed.
• Educate and reassure patients' families during emergencies.
• Document accurately in the EHR and maintain infection control.
• Support team and restock supplies for patient care.
