Experience:

• 24 months of role experience, including the last 3 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience, including the last 3 months.
• Experience with Cerner preferred.

Requirements:

• Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• May require floating to additional units and locations.
• Travel only; local candidates are not eligible. Must live >50 miles from the facility.

Additional Details:

• An interview may not be available prior to offer.
• Guaranteed hours: 36
• This is a Tele position requiring Tele skills.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience (within past 6 months).
• Patients: ED holds waiting for unit placement, primarily MS/Tele.
• Must have a strong cardiac tele background, able to adjust cardiac drips per physician orders.
• Weekend requirement: 4 weekends in a 4-week schedule.
• Holiday rotation with permanent staff.
• Floating to med/surg/tele/overflow units and specific EDs as needed.
• Dress code: Navy scrubs.
• Will care for ER patients waiting for beds; may assist with vitals, IV starts, medication administration but not primary RN for ED patients.
• No block scheduling.
• Recent unit/specialty experience required.
• References: 1 from last 12 months (manager/supervisor), 1 from last 3 years (any type).
• Driver’s license required.

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
