Piedmont Cartersville is seeking an Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator to oversee the safe, efficient movement of patients through the ED. The role coordinates patient care activities and serves as a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure timely delivery of services.

Requirements include graduation from a nursing program, RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least 1 year of ED nursing experience; CEN preferred.

Qualificações

• RN licensure in Georgia required; BCLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required; experience with quality/process improvement projects preferred.
• Graduate from nursing program; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Overview:

The Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator position is responsible for the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner. This position will coordinate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. The Patient Flow Coordinator appropriately delegates the workload and is a role model for teamwork, leadership and professionalism in the ED.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate from a nursing program Required
• Bachelor's Degree of Nursing Preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year of Emergency Department experience, as a registered nurse (RN) Required
• Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• ACLS Required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
• CEN - Certified Emergency Room Nurse Preferred
