University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD, is seeking a full-time Emergency Department Advanced Practice Provider to join a physician-led team delivering high-quality, rapid emergency care in a busy, 75,000 visits/year ED.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board certification as Acute Care or Emergency Nurse Practitioner.
• Current Maryland licensure or eligibility.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Current Maryland licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with emergent and urgent medical conditions.
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice and credentialing.
• Collaborate with Emergency Medicine physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide efficient patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately within Epic.
• Participate in quality improvement and departmental education as appropriate.

Nurse Practitioner degree (MSN or DNP)
