Job summary

TheraPeds Partners seeks a full-time, on-site Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for a school in Edgemont, SD. You will provide teaching and case management, develop IEPs, evaluate progress, and collaborate with therapists, educators, and parents.

The role requires a Bachelor's in ECSE or SPED, SD license with Birth–Grade 3 endorsement, and experience with young children with disabilities. Competitive pay and guaranteed hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related education field.
• SD ECSE license/endorsement Birth–Grade 3 and fingerprint clearance.
• Experience with young children with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of IDEA and IEP development preferred.
• State SPED license.
• 1+ years of experience in a school setting preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in use of technology.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with tact and discretion.
