What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Investigate and enter data related to Out of Area ECRP claims processing and adjustments
  • Provide telephone customer service to internal and external clients on the ECRP Hotline
  • Research and reconcile invalid member claims for submission to the Facet processing system
  • Manage and process all ECRP provider appeals throughout the entire process
  • Maintain a tracking log of all Plan to Plan telephone inquiries and assist in claim updates
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in claims processing and/or customer service
  • In-depth knowledge of claims payment methodology
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Healthcare or Managed Care experience is preferred
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm and working knowledge of PC applications in a Windows-based environment
