Amazon Prime is seeking an ambitious Economist to build econometric insights for Prime decisions across diverse services. You will craft causal models using large-scale data and modern computing, collaborating with economists, data professionals, product managers and engineers to power customer experiences.

The role emphasizes publishing findings internally, delivering scalable analytics, and communicating strategic recommendations to senior leadership within Prime Economics.

Qualifications

• PhD in economics or equivalent.
• Knowledge of data analysis languages (R, Stata, Python, etc.) or other statistical software.
• Experience with SQL.

Responsabilités

• Develop econometric models (causal, counterfactual, ML) and provide causal insights.
• Create scalable production software for internal data products.
• Collaborate with economists, data professionals, product managers and engineers.
• Communicate findings through strategic documents for senior leaders.
