The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a Research Analyst to support economists across energy, financial, international, macro, or regional groups. You will access, organize, analyze, and visualize data, perform background analysis, and run econometric or quantitative models for policy research and public outreach.

During the two-year program you will write memos, blog posts for Dallas Fed Economics and articles for The Southwest Economy, gain experience with data sets used by economists,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with coursework in economics and knowledge of statistics/econometrics.
Ability to describe economic trends in writing.
Experience with data sets used by economists and econometric techniques.

Responsibilities

Assist economists in research and policy analysis across groups.
Access, organize, analyze, and visualize data.
Conduct background analysis and econometric modeling.
Run econometric or quantitative models and contribute ideas for projects.
Support on other research projects and collaborate with analysts.
