Responsabilidades

• Develop lectures, demonstrations, assignments, and enrichment activities to deliver course content.
• Teach coursework in various specialties within the economics program.
• Maintain regular office hours for student advising.
• Participate in events and initiatives to meet departmental recruitment and retention goals.
• Accept committee assignments, sponsor student activities, and engage in university life.
• Support the university’s Christian mission, including chapel attendance and university programs.
• Provide a Christian role model for students.
• Maintain strong scholarly interests and share knowledge with students and peers.
• Promote the discipline on and off campus and attract students to economics.
• Maintain contact with alumni and the community.
• Participate in academic unit meetings and collaborate with faculty.
• Identify with professional organizations in the discipline at all educational levels.
• Assist in recruiting new faculty within the academic unit.
• Assist the Dean in preparing class schedules and materials for the University Bulletin Catalog.
• Know library holdings and plan improvements based on budget allocations.
• Assist in developing syllabi for courses in the discipline.
• Assist in preparing requests for foundation grants.
• Assist students by monitoring progress and referring to support services as needed.
• Demonstrate excellence in teaching and serve as academic advisor.
