Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking a qualified individual for a teaching position in Economics. Responsibilities include developing and teaching college-level courses, designing syllabi, evaluating student learning, and providing advisement and recruitment support.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Economics with 18 graduate credits in the subject, and a Doctorate degree is preferred. Candidates must be available to teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject.
• Doctorate degree in Economics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level economics courses.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide an excellent teaching experience, student advisement, recruitment activities, and program/curriculum development.
• Teach at multiple campuses in Clark County.
• Be available to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses.
