Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent as determined by JWU.
• Experience teaching economics at the post-secondary level.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned course(s) on campus by delivering course content, preparing materials, grading work, and providing timely feedback.
• Teach online using the university's LMS according to JWU outlines and online delivery standards.
• Maintain course sites in the LMS and update the grade center weekly.
• Maintain accurate attendance and academic achievement records.
• Distribute syllabi with objectives, materials, attendance policy, and evaluation criteria.
• Communicate with students, department chair, and academic counselor for at-risk students.
• Refer students to university resources and support services.
• Populate the faculty information system with teaching credentials.
• Attend faculty orientation and meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
