An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team in a training role focused on processing benefit applications. Under close supervision, perform in a training role learning the methods of processing benefit applications. Determine eligibility for, and manage, a caseload for economic assistance including, but not limited to SNAP, various Medicaid programs, Emergency Assistance/LIEAP, and School Clothing Vouchers. Learn to adeptly use department software to administer to a demanding caseload. Comprehend and adhere to complex policy regarding eligibility and issuance of benefits. Learn to conduct interviews with clients. Train how to analyze financial and social information. May retain repayment for economic assistance issued erroneously. Perform related work as required.
