Under close supervision, perform in a training role learning the methods of processing benefit applications. Determine eligibility for, and manage, a caseload for economic assistance including SNAP, Medicaid, Emergency Assistance/LIEAP, and School Clothing Vouchers. Learn to use department software to administer benefits and adhere to complex policies regarding eligibility and issuance. Conduct client interviews and analyze financial and social information. May retain repayment for erroneously issued assistance. Perform related work as required.
