Job summary

ADM in Decatur, IL seeks an Economic Analyst to conduct research and analysis on North American commodity markets, including meal and oil, to support trading, finance and other teams. Economic Analyst – Decatur, IL

This is a full time, exempt position

Main Function

This position conducts research and analysis on North American commodity markets directly supporting the North America Carb Solutions, Ag Services and Oilseeds teams and various global ADM business units. The analyst will be expected to reach an expert level of knowledge regarding commodities in the Americas. The work will not only focus on the crop commodity but will also include in-depth analysis of meal and oil. The individual will be able to find, analyze and communicate implications of both market and non-market factors on oilseeds from international energy and agricultural markets, global economic data, trends and market conditions.

This role organizes, analyzes and communicates results in support of the company’s trading, commercial, finance and other teams. The analyst will also be tasked with effectively communicating ADM’s outlook to external audiences. This role may be expanded to include other responsibilities based on the overall development of the global economics team.

The position is based in Decatur, IL and will report to the Vice President of Economic Research.

ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$90,000.00 - $164,000.00

Salaried Incentive Plan

The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus
