This role is open to Remote, Hybrid, or On-Site in Indianapolis, IN. Preference for Indianapolis, IN area candidates, as well as remote candidates in: IN, IL, OH, WV, WI, GA, AL, FL, LA, or TX

The Industrial Service Group (ISG) is growing quickly through the acquisition of companies that are specialized in offering maintenance and repair services and distribution of critical rotating equipment and parts to large industrial customers. To propel the next stage of growth, ISG is embarking on a digital transformation to offer B2B eCommerce building a multi-storefront, omnichannel offering.

The eCommerce Specialist role reports to the eCommerce Manager and supports the development of new online stores and management of live online stores. Key to Specialist role is working within the eCommerce (BigCommerce) platform on a day-to-day basis managing the site’s performance to enhance the customer experience and promote growth revenue growth.

The individual in this role will partner with a cross-functional teams to manage a wide range of tasks, including site performance, feature advancement, digital marketing and data analytics.

The eCommerce Specialist is part of ISG’s Corporate Marketing Dept, which includes Marketing, eCommerce and Product Content teams. This role requires a versatile professional with a well-rounded skillset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Role reports to eCommerce Manager and requires the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and outside agencies.
  • Through improvement of the customer experience, the driving goals are to grow site traffic, customer acquisition, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) translating into increased revenue and margin.
  • Perform day-to-day tasks in the existing eCommerce storefronts, including design and content changes, testing, and bug fixes, and participate in the development of new eCommerce sites.
  • In partnership with each ISG Brand(s) and Product Content team, manage the product catalog, product content and merchandising to improve SEO and CRO.
  • In partnership with ISG Marketing team, lead digital marketing and content development including SEO, SEM, email, and social media to increase site traffic and build loyalty.
  • In partnership with IT, ensure data security best practices are employed.
  • Review data analytics and translate into KPI and metrics reports with analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Lead projects that advance the eCommerce sites’ UI/UX including feature enhancement, design and customer engagement.
  • Conduct competitive research and collect data to understand trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in eCommerce, Marketing, Business, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an eCommerce Manager or a similar role – B2B eCommerce is a plus.
  • Proficiency in managing eCommerce technology platform, CMS, SEO, SEM, and Google Analytics. Experience working with Big Commerce a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with eCommerce development agencies and digital marketing agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in reporting and tracking marketing data.
  • Knowledge of market research techniques and data analysis.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Compensation:

This position is benefits eligible, full time, salary, exempt.

  • Target Salary for well qualified candidates: $60-80,000 annual
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) contribution and match program, PTO, short and long term disability.
