JOB SUMMARY

The eCommerce Site Coordinator will own the day-to-day oversights and updates of gardenoflife.com, including the homepage, product updates, editorial content, and merchandising. Position is also responsible for working cross-functionally to optimize content to drive SEO, perform quality assurance, and troubleshoot issues to improve user experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Manage daily website updates inclusive of the homepage, editorial content, and merchandising ensuring efficient and accurate execution.
  • Work with the eCommerce Manager and Creative and Marketing Teams to determine content for activation across channels with a focus on site optimization to drive eCommerce conversions.
  • Coordinate site updates for current and new products. Partner with Product Development, Creative, and Supply Chain Teams to align on tasks and timing.
  • Optimize content (new and existing) on the site to drive SEO; establish priorities and plans to address content and technical opportunities to improve SEO rank and drive business results.
  • Support the eCommerce team in providing input on requirements, participating in quality assurance, and scaling new features and initiatives.
  • Activate promotions based on promotional calendar; perform set-up and quality assurance and maintain promotion codes. Partner with Testing Manager, Customer Service, and IT to troubleshoot issues, ideate on opportunities to improve the user experience, and develop improved content to reduce friction.
  • Conduct competitive and user experience research and stay up to date on new website technologies and features.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
EDUCATION

Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or related field

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 year Magento 2 site administration experience or relevant eCommerce platform

SPECIFIC OR ADDITIONAL SKILLS
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and UX design principles to build site content pages preferred
  • Analytical and data-driven. Experience in Google Analytics and/or Hotjar a plus
  • Good communication skills, ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Understanding of brand marketing content delivery needs, solutions, and processes
  • Ability to understand consumer behavior across the entire digital landscape
  • Strategic, organized, and process and solution-oriented with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner with internal and external teams. Able to adapt and be flexible.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings as needed
