Job summary

Goodwill Industries of West Michigan, Inc. in Muskegon is seeking a Temporary eCommerce Service Representative to manage online product representations and provide customer service for the E-Commerce department.

You will sort items for posting, photograph and write descriptions, upload data to the online sales platform, answer customer inquiries, and assist with packing and shipping sold items while coordinating with the E-Commerce Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of one (1) year of retail experience is required.
• Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office suite.

Temporary - eCommerce Service Representative

This position is 40 hours a week, M-F (7a - 3:30p or 8a - 4:30p)

Primary Responsibility

• Responsible for online product representation and providing customer service for the E-Commerce department.

Job Functions

• Upload information to software/website used for online sales.
• Answer customer questions about the posted product.
• Pack and ship sold items.
• Refer customer issues to departmental management.

Physical Requirements

• Medium work, occasionally exerting up to 50 pounds of force and/or up to 25 pounds of lifting, frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, reaching, handling, hearing, talking, seeing and repetitive movement.

Work Conditions

• Inside generally 100%, however, may include outside work on occasion.
• Moderate emotional effort. The work environment is occasionally hectic with occasional high stress. Short deadlines require some overtime.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• A minimum of one (1) year of retail experience is required.

• Must be able to provide positive internal and external customer relations and to easily interact and work with individuals referred for training.
• Demonstrate quality control and accuracy with product representation.
