Job summary

AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation is seeking an Engineer II for the eCommerce & Portal Team. You will develop, test, and support digital applications enabling customer, partner, and internal portal experiences, working across front-end and back-end components in an Agile setup.

Collaborate with senior engineers, tech leads, product managers, QA, UX, and DevOps to deliver features, resolve defects, and improve platform performance. Growth into greater ownership of components is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building or supporting web applications, APIs, or digital platforms.
• Front-end technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React/Angular/Vue.
• Back-end technologies: Java, C#, Node.js, Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and basic integration concepts.
• Relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control systems, testing frameworks, and Agile practices.
• Understanding of SDLC, debugging, and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support features for eCommerce and portal applications.
• Contribute to front-end, back-end, API, and integration development as needed.
• Implement user stories, enhancements, and bug fixes per requirements and standards.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and efficient code across components.
• Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve quality.
