SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and creative Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist to help enhance the way customers discover and shop our fine jewelry online. This role is ideal for someone who loves data as much as design and is passionate about creating seamless digital product experiences that inspire and convert.

This individual will be responsible for managing the entire online product lifecycle—from onboarding new products and optimizing pages, to improving on-site search and visual merchandising across category pages. They’ll play a key role in how our products are presented online, working cross-functionally with buying, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure accurate, engaging, and conversion-focused product content.

In addition to managing photography prioritization and execution, the Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist will use data and market insights to drive product performance, identify trends, and make informed site merchandising decisions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the online product lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely product uploads, imagery, descriptions, pricing, and categorization.
  • Optimize product pages, category layouts, and on-site search results to improve navigation, relevance, and conversion.
  • Monitor and address any listing issues, ensuring product accuracy and site functionality.
  • Analyze product performance and use site analytics to identify areas of opportunity across assortments and product types.
  • Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams to ensure online assortments are trend-relevant, balanced, and well-represented.
  • Lead the prioritization and coordination of product photography in partnership with the photography team, ensuring timely updates for seasonal campaigns.
  • Support digital marketing and email campaigns by ensuring featured products are properly merchandised and available for promotion.
  • Improve product discoverability through keyword optimization, enhanced product relationships, and tagging strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, ideally in fashion, retail, or a luxury product category.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, or similar).
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets, and merchandising dashboards.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience working with creative teams on visual asset coordination (e.g., product imagery, content updates).
  • Bonus: Prior experience working with fine jewelry, luxury goods, or trend-driven retail categories.

JOB LOCATION

Hybrid 3–4 days at our office in Matteson, IL

  • Discounts- Associate discounts on store purchases available to all associates based upon tenure and level of position.
  • Retirement / 401(k) Plan- Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) if eligibility is met, following one year anniversary.Company match is 40% of the first 5% that the employee contributes to the plan.
