Job summary

Sol de Janeiro, headquartered in New York, seeks an Ecommerce Merchandising professional to shape how customers discover and shop our online experience. You’ll collaborate across DTC, Marketing, Creative, and Paid Media to drive growth as we expand globally.

You will manage site navigation, product assortments, inventory with the Supply team, and SEO efforts while coordinating with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of ecommerce experience; beauty industry a plus.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and Shopify.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Manager, Ecommerce Merchandising in navigation, on-site search & filters, and site content.
• Maintain online product assortments to align with sales and marketing trends.
• Review site daily and communicate solutions to peers in a timely manner.
• Own day-to-day inventory management with Supply and Inventory teams.
• Collaborate with DTC, Global Product Marketing, and Global Consumer Engagement on GTM needs.
• Implement SEO recommendations and assist Email and Paid teams with linking support.
• Maintain site operations including promotions, content updates, merchandising, and product setup.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Ecommerce Merchandising, you’ll help shape how our community discovers and shops Sol de Janeiro online, making every visit to SolDeJaneiro.com feel as joyful and effortless as the products themselves. From site navigation and product pages to inventory and campaign launches, you’ll partner across DTC, Marketing, Creative, and Paid Media to bring our biggest moments to life online and drive ecommerce growth as the brand continues to expand globally.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Support Senior Manager, Ecommerce Merchandising in the execution of strategies for navigation, on-site search & filters, and site content
• Sequence and maintain online product assortments to support key sales and marketing trends
• Review site daily with a customer-first mindset to evaluate any issues and effectively communicate technical and non-technical solutions to peers in a timely manner
• Own day to day inventory management with Supply and Inventory teams with oversight from the Senior Manager, E-Commerce Merchandising
• Collaborate with DTC, Global Product Marketing & Global Consumer Engagement Teams on site GTM needs
• Implement SEO recommendations and assist Email and Paid teams with linking support
• Support day-to-day tasks required to maintain the site, including promotions, site content updates, merchandising, and product setup, ensuring that functionality meets/exceeds company expectations
• Understand the competitive landscape and make recommendations to improve business
• Assist E-Commerce Merchandising team with competitive analyses to stay current on industry trends
• Coordinate with the internal creative team to brief in site & paid media assets in a timely manner, ensuring deliverables align with campaign launch timelines
• Coordinate asset trafficking and taxonomy management with paid media agency, ensuring all ads are reviewed, QA’d, and approved prior to launch.
  Support the review, tracking, and submission of paid media invoices in partnership with the Senior Manager of Paid Media, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 1-2 years of job or internship experience in e-commerce; Beauty industry a plus
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and Shopify
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
• Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and be able to pivot quickly and effectively prioritize workload
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, vendors, and cross-functional partners

Salary Range

$70,000 - $75,000 USD
