Job Title: Merchandising Operations Specialist

Location: Remote (EST Hours)

Type: Contract (6 months with opportunity to extend)

Employment Eligibility: Gravity can only consider US Citizens, Green Card Holders at this time

Overview:

Our client is seeking a Merchandising Operations Specialist in Plantation, Florida. This individual will be a member of the Vendor Experience (VE) team which is a part of our clients Merchandising Systems and Services Team (MSS). MSS is responsible for creating the systems, services, and process infrastructure for all of our clients businesses. Our client’s mission is to build the best vendor experience for their vendors, be the backbone for their business/category teams, and help win long-term customer trust, business growth, and profitability.

What You’ll Do:

• With a vendor-first mindset, manage and answer direct vendor requests through our clients CRM under Service Level Agreements (SLA) and KPIs related to speed and quality

• Process setup of new vendors and new promotions through validation of data, conversion to our clients standards, and integration into various systems

• Draft and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for our clients internal processes

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and proactively drive resolutions to issues and escalations

• Monitor KPIs and queue status through existing Tableau reporting dashboard, Excel, and other data tools

• Participate in process improvement projects (test documentation/execution, issue identification, etc.)

What You’ll Need:

• BA in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related degree

• 1+ years of related work experience and demonstrated track record of innovation and impact

• Results oriented mindset with the ability to react quickly to requests in a timely, accurate and detail-oriented manner

• Experience using dashboards to monitor KPIs, identify and correct defects, perform root cause analysis on KPI misses

• Ability to independently collaborate with merchants and deliver results on tight timelines

• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with speed and commitment to quality

• Proficient Excel and MS Office skills

• Strong oral and written communication

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Bonus Skills:

• Prior experience in Software Quality Processes and Atlassian Tools such as (Confluence, JIRA, etc.)
