Job description

The Ecommerce Manager owns the end-to-end digital experience across Pro Standard's brand-owned sites — from homepage to checkout. You are responsible for site performance, merchandising execution, and conversion optimization, working closely with UX, development, marketing, merchandising, and analytics.

Acting as the hands-on lead for all things ecommerce, you lead a team of direct reports and drive continuous improvement of the customer journey across our global sites while delivering on-time, high-quality execution of campaigns, launches, and key trading moments. This role operates in an AI-forward environment where agents and tools like Claude are used every day to accelerate execution — comfort with AI-assisted workflows is essential.

Responsibilities
Site Experience & Merchandising Execution
  • Own the end-to-end ecommerce site experience across brand-owned sites, ensuring a cohesive customer journey from homepage to checkout.
  • Execute site merchandising and content across key surfaces — homepage, PLPs, PDPs, landing pages, and collections — ensuring accurate launches and compelling brand storytelling.
  • Manage the commercial/trading calendar and cross-channel readiness, ensuring on-time execution, QA, and content accuracy for campaigns and key moments.
  • Own the email-to-site journey by coordinating email-focused landing pages and collections, and validating end-to-end conversion paths.
UX Optimization & CRO
  • Lead UX/UI optimization across desktop and mobile using analytics, behavioral insights, A/B testing, and customer feedback to improve conversion and revenue.
  • Identify and prioritize enhancements to improve usability, navigation, and overall conversion rate.
  • Partner with UX designers to translate customer insights into frictionless digital experiences.
  • Lead planning, execution, and measurement of A/B tests and CRO experiments.
  • Monitor KPIs including bounce rate, conversion rate, cart abandonment, and engagement.
Digital Development Planning
  • Coordinate website updates in collaboration with UI developers, ensuring alignment with merchandising and marketing calendars.
  • Lead the weekly sprint planning process for design and development cycles.
  • Oversee QA of all customer-facing features to ensure quality, responsiveness, and mobile optimization.
Data-Driven Optimization
  • Uncover friction points and prioritize solutions based on user behavior and funnel performance.
  • Use heatmaps, click data, and conversion analysis to guide design decisions and sprint priorities.
  • Translate analytical insights into actionable tasks for UX/UI design and development.
AI-Powered Execution
  • Manage and direct AI agents to automate recurring ecommerce tasks — from reporting and QA checks to content updates and merchandising audits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify where AI tools can replace or augment manual workflows, and help scope and build those solutions.
  • Define and refine prompts, workflows, and agent behaviors to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs aligned with brand and business standards.
  • Stay current on emerging AI tools and capabilities relevant to ecommerce, and champion their adoption across the team.
  • Manage and develop a team of direct reports, providing clear direction, feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture aligned with the brand's digital ambitions.
Cross-Functional Alignment & Reporting
  • Drive cross-functional execution and performance reporting with site development, marketing, customer service, content, merchandising, and operations teams; provide actionable recommendations.
  • Support DTC planning and forecast cycles by partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams to align site decisions with revenue goals and priorities.
  • Leverage cross-functional data sources to validate strategies and surface business opportunities.
International Site Management
  • Ensure consistency of experience across all regional sites (US, Mexico, Canada, UK, and additional international markets), while accounting for localization needs.
  • Support translations and structural adjustments by market when needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce management, digital product, or UX optimization.
  • Strong understanding of user behavior, digital analytics, and mobile-first UX best practices.
  • Experience managing Shopify Plus sites or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of A/B testing and analytics tools (e.g., VWO, Hotjar, Clarity, Optimizely, Google Optimize).
  • AI-savvy and comfortable working with AI agents (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) as part of day-to-day workflows — including managing agents, contributing to AI tool development, and building automated workflows that scale the team's output.
  • Exceptional project management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus given our Mexico operation; other languages a plus.
