Job summary

Rio Grande is seeking an IT Business Analyst to drive enhancements for our eCommerce websites. You will work with Marketing, Merchandising, Product Management, Customer Service, and IT to translate business needs into functional requirements and guide development from concept through testing and deployment.

The ideal candidate will be technically inclined, able to analyze large data sets, and proficient at communicating with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, Analytics, or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience as Business/Systems Analyst supporting eCommerce or digital platforms.
• Experience translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and processes.
• Technical aptitude to understand architecture, integrations, and data flows.
• Experience with Agile software development lifecycle and collaboration with dev teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand objectives and identify opportunities to improve eCommerce websites and digital customer experience.
• Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements for enhancements.
• Translate needs into user stories, specs, and workflow diagrams for developers.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and the development team throughout the lifecycle.
• Support UAT by clarifying requirements and assisting production deployments.
• Configure CMS and digital commerce platform settings for new features and merchandising.
