Job summary

Rook Coffee in New Jersey is seeking an Ecommerce Fulfillment Team Member to support the Logistics Manager in accurately processing online orders and maintaining ecommerce operations.

You will pick, pack, and verify orders, maintain inventory, and help maintain the fulfillment area; pay is $20–$22 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack online orders accurately to meet daily shipping deadlines.
• Verify order accuracy by matching items and quantities against packing slips.
• Maintain digital inventory by recording ecommerce movements.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies, low stock, and damaged goods.
• Organize and maintain the fulfillment area and equipment.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing incoming inventory.

Job Summary

Our Ecommerce Fulfillment Team Member works directly with the Logistics Manager to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders placed through Rook Coffee’s online store, keeping this growing part of the business organized and running smoothly. This entry-level position is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of small-business operations and offers room for professional growth and development. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability are important qualifications for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack online orders accurately and efficiently to meet daily shipping deadlines.
• Verify order accuracy by matching items and quantities against packing slips before sealing and labeling packages.
• Maintain accurate digital inventory by receiving, stocking, and recording ecommerce inventory movements.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies, low stock, and damaged goods to the Ecommerce Manager.
• Organize and maintain the fulfillment area, including product storage, packaging supplies, and shipping stations.
• Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of the fulfillment area, packaging equipment, and shared workspaces.
• Maintain the physical condition of the fulfillment area, including shelving, floors, and storage spaces.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming inventory and shipments.

Job Qualifications

• A Positivemental attitude and outlook on life. A friendly and genuine personality is a must!
• The desire to work independently on projects and tasks related to online order fulfillment.
• Motivation, drive, and great attention to detail are necessary for this role!
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks and pallet jacks, and to lift and carry packages up to 40 lbs (no experience required; training will be provided).
• Experience in a fast-paced fulfillment, retail, or warehouse environment is a plus

$20 - $22 an hour

Exact pay rate is based on experience.
