Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Delivery Driver to cover local community routes using a 26' temperature-controlled truck. You will deliver orders with a focus on accuracy, safety, and friendly customer service, while benefiting from company-provided vehicle, gas card, and maintenance support.

This role emphasizes physical activity, steady daily work, and potential growth opportunities within our stores, warehouses, manufacturing plants, and offices as part of a larger retail network.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and hold a valid drivers license.
• Clean driving record with no major incidents in recent years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfort with constant physical activity and moving throughout the day.
• Strong pride in accuracy and serving the community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders across local communities using a 26' delivery truck.
• Maintain safe driving habits and comply with company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with loading/unloading and basic vehicle upkeep.

A Day in the Life:

As a Delivery Driver at Albertson's, you're on-the-go throughout your day operating a multi-zone , temperature-controlled , 26' delivery truck , delivering orders throughout your local communities. We provide th e vehicle and ensure you have a gas card to fuel up. We'll even provide maintenance and preventative care on the vehicle too! When you join us as a grocery Delivery Driver, w e will provide you with hands-on, classroom, and on the job training , whether you come with experience as a delivery driver or not , so you can be a safe and efficient driver . What you bring to the table:

• You are 21 years of age or older.
• You have a valid driver's license and clean driving record ( no accidents in the last three years, no DUI/DWI within the last seven years, and no more than one moving violation within the last 3 years) .
• You have the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• You enjoy working in roles that require constant physical activity.
• You take pride in the work you do, with every detail, whether big or small .
