What We Want You To Do
Our Digital Strategist leads the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads. You'll be responsible for developing high-performing strategies, analyzing data to improve performance, and working closely with our creative and client teams to hit KPIs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and knows Google Ads inside out. The ideal candidate combines creativity, analytical skills, and technical know-how to deliver impactful digital campaigns. By focusing on metrics and customer experience, a digital strategist ensures all initiatives drive measurable success while aligning with the brand's messaging and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive advertising strategies through market research, target audience identification, and competitor analysis.
- Set targets for all accounts with a minimum of 25% month-over-month scale growth.
- Innovate in creative testing and development, utilizing resources like videos, images, advertorials, VSLs, and copywriting.
- Foster innovation in ad strategies, including adopting AI-powered solutions and exploring new ad formats.
- Create niche-specific playbooks (e.g., health, fashion, SaaS).
- Implement and monitor new processes across the team.
- Participate in and lead client calls, discussing innovation, scaling, and business development.
- Support the team with account-related questions, troubleshooting, and strategic adjustments.
- Train and mentor team members to improve their technical and interpersonal skills.
- Set and monitor monthly goals with clients, ensuring targets are met.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous optimization, encouraging team independence and open communication.
- Achieve annual goals through creative, collaborative, and non-traditional approaches.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Advocate for innovation beyond Google Ads, advising clients on broader digital strategies, including Facebook and other platforms.
Requirements
You're Perfect If You Have...
- A degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Business, or related fields is preferred.
- Advanced certifications in Google Ads, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, or attribution tools (e.g., Triple Whale, Northbeam).
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior role, preferably in an agency.
- Proven track record managing six- to seven-figure monthly ad budgets with measurable ROI.
- Experience leading or mentoring teams, developing talent, and fostering collaboration.
- Expertise in Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, Shopify, and attribution tools.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, project management tools, and analytics platforms.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Deep understanding of marketing funnels, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Experience in omnichannel marketing strategies, including paid search, display, video, and emerging formats.
- Knowledge of YouTube/Demand Gen campaigns is a plus.
- Creative and technical ability to optimize ad elements and landing pages.
- Proficiency in A/B and multivariate testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Ability to train and mentor team members.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and projects efficiently.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new platforms, tools, and algorithm changes.
