Job description

Job Details

Job Location: Home Office - Chicago, IL 60622
Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly
Job Shift: Day
Overview of Position

The Ecommerce Coordinator keeps our products accurate, visible, and easy to buy online, every single day. You will manage listings across several ecommerce platforms, build promotions, write product copy, and help turn our data into decisions.

This is not a typical direct-to-consumer ecommerce job. Online ordering here sits inside a larger business: it works alongside our sales team, our customer service staff, our physical locations, and an ERP that runs the whole operation. Many of our customers buy from us in more than one way. Your job is to make the online channel strengthen those relationships, not compete with them.

We are looking for someone who sees ecommerce as part of an ecosystem. You understand that a listing error can affect a sales rep's conversation, that a promotion has to make sense for inventory and margin, and that the best online experience is the one that makes the rest of the business work better.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own the daily online presence of our products

  • Keep product listings accurate and current: pricing, availability, images, attributes, and categories.
  • Audit listings regularly and fix errors before customers or sales staff find them.
  • Launch new products and retire discontinued ones on schedule.
Work across multiple ecommerce platforms
  • Manage our storefronts on Shopify and the other platforms we sell through.
  • Learn new platforms quickly as our channels change, and document how each one works.
  • Keep product information consistent across every channel.
Build and run promotions
  • Set up discounts, featured collections, bundles, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Coordinate timing with purchasing, sales, and marketing so promotions match inventory and goals.
  • Test every promotion before launch and confirm it performs as intended after.
Write product copy
  • Write clear, accurate product titles and descriptions that help customers buy with confidence.
  • Follow our brand voice and search best practices.
  • Maintain copy standards and templates so listings stay consistent.
Contribute to reporting and find opportunities
  • Pull and prepare regular reports on sales, traffic, conversion, and promotion results.
  • Spot trends, gaps, and underperforming products, and recommend what to do about them.
  • Share findings in plain language with teams outside ecommerce.
Use NetSuite
  • Maintain item records and product data in NetSuite.
  • Run saved searches and reports to support ecommerce work.
  • Make sure data flows correctly between NetSuite and our ecommerce platforms, and troubleshoot when it doesn't.
Qualifications: WHAT YOU BRING
  • 2+ years of hands‑on ecommerce experience, managing product listings or storefront operations.
  • Working knowledge of at least one major ecommerce platform, and confidence learning new ones fast.
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable with spreadsheets, pivot tables, and reading dashboards.
  • Clear, accurate writing, with an eye for detail in product copy and data.
  • Experience setting up promotions, discounts, or campaigns on an ecommerce platform.
  • An understanding of how ecommerce connects to sales, inventory, and customer service, not just marketing.
  • Organized and dependable with recurring daily work, while juggling projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with people across departments, including those who don't work in ecommerce.
NICE TO HAVE
  • Shopify experience, including apps, collections, and discount setup.
  • NetSuite experience, especially item records and saved searches.
  • B2B, wholesale, or multi-channel ecommerce experience.
  • Experience with seasonal, perishable, or fast-changing inventory.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
  • Basic SEO knowledge and experience with bulk product imports (CSV).conversation.
