Ecologist / Senior Ecologist

with a Leading UK Consultancy based in Sheffield

Position: Ecologist / Senior Ecologist

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £25,000 - £42,000

Are you a Botanist / experienced in BNG? This could be an exciting role for you with a market leader! Whether you are an Ecologist ready for the next step in your career or an established Senior Ecologist seeking the perfect opening, this role offers an exciting prospect.

We have a fantastic opportunity in Sheffield, with a rapidly growing company that values personal and technical development while providing exposure to prestigious projects with major UK companies. We are especially interested in speaking to those candidates with a real passion for Botany and BNG, as well as Ecologists or Senior Ecologists who hold a Bat 1 or Bat 2 licence (other licences also considered).

In this role, you will take charge of leading and coordinating the technical aspects of projects, ensuring a high level of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities:

1. Project coordination
2. Client and stakeholder collaboration
3. Showcasing the company's capabilities to potential clients

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
2. Proven experience in a UK consultancy
3. Ability to manage large data sets
4. Report Writing
5. Protected Species licences (Bat ideally) are desirable, but not essential
