Members of this team are challenged daily by integrating the training demands with truly sustainable ecosystem management practices on the ground. You will engage with a diverse array of flora and fauna present on the property, participating in dynamic conservation efforts that emphasize survey and study design, implementation, and evaluation to support various species. A strong sense of personal initiative, the ability to follow instructions, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within established guidelines are essential. Safety is paramount, particularly in relation to the live-fire training protocols at the facility. Candidates should be prepared to navigate steep and hazardous terrain, combat wildfires, and endure adverse weather conditions. Opportunities for travel and the necessity to work during nights and weekends may arise. Additionally, candidates must either possess or be willing to obtain rabies pre-exposure inoculation prior to commencing employment.
