Job summary

Offshoots, Inc. is seeking a creative and organized Horticulture Field Manager & Account Manager to oversee ongoing gardening clients and seasonal plantings in the greater Boston area.

This full-time role blends field work with design-focused client care and project coordination. The ideal candidate has strong horticultural knowledge, experience in high-end garden design, and a passion for native and ecologically minded landscapes.

Qualifications

• Strong horticultural knowledge across perennials, shrubs, trees and natives.
• Experience with high-end garden design and seasonal plantings.
• Passion for ecological landscaping and pollinator-friendly spaces.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in the field.
• Supervisory experience with landscape crews and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 40 ongoing gardening accounts and seasonal plantings.
• Lead field crews to deliver high-quality garden maintenance services.
• Communicate with clients about work performed and foster long-term relationships.
• Consult on ongoing work and design enhancements with native, ecological focus.
• Create proposals and estimates for enhancements and seasonal services.
• Coordinate material purchases and work schedules with teams.
