Job summary

Uponor in Minnesota is seeking a production operator for the EcoFlex line to run the extrusion and related equipment, perform maintenance and changeovers, and ensure accurate paperwork and quality standards.

You will collaborate with the supervisor and team, uphold safety practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while benefiting from PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) match.”

Responsibilities

• Operates the EcoFlex line and auxiliary equipment.

• Changes belts, folders, corrugate blocks, materials and coils as required.
• Schedules RAW materials deliveries and maintains the inventory.
• Packages finished coils as required.
• Maintain work area with 5S discipline.

Job description

This position is tasked with the safe operation of the EcoFlex and pre-insulated line. This equipment includes a screw extruder, corrugator and foam folders. In addition, this position is responsible for maintenance, process, and quality standards associated with the EcoFlex production.

This position requires excellent communication skills needed to work closely with others including the ordering of materials.

Delegates and prioritizes individual or team actions to enable Prioritizes daily activities and aligns actions to support overall function and business strategy.

In conjunction with leadership, provides input on individual performance objectives that are aligned with the functional and business strategy.
