The Junkluggers in Pittsburgh is seeking a Junk Removal Specialist to serve as a friendly, front-line brand ambassador who safely loads and transports items, educates customers about our eco-friendly services, and helps route items for recycling and rehoming.

You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, upholding safety standards, leveraging field technology, and contributing to community initiatives. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; customer-facing role.
• Safety-first mindset and adherence to safety policies.
• Ability to learn and use field technology quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills to complete jobs efficiently.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver's license (3+ years).
• DOT medical certification required; PA DOT training provided after hire.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and navigate stairs and uneven terrain.

Responsibilities

• Treat team members and customers with care and respect by providing excellent service.
• Educate customers on services to demonstrate value.
• Operate company vehicle safely; PA DOT required; training provided.
• Safely load, transport, and unload customers' items.
• Collaborate with nonprofits, recycling, and disposal partners to dispose items green.
• Become an operational decision maker to optimize routes and rehoming/recycling.
• Maintain trucks and equipment with daily inspections.
• Execute guerrilla marketing to win repeat business and referrals.
• Partner with leadership to promote continuous improvement.
