Job description

Eco Boom Crew Lead (1st Shift, Duncansville)

The primary responsibility of the Eco Boom Crew Lead is to oversee the daily activities of the Eco Boom team, ensuring safety, quality production, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Lead and be responsible for the Eco Boom production team to meet daily production schedules while ensuring all products meet standard work and quality requirements.
  2. Prioritize safety during Eco Boom production.
  3. Maintain expectational knowledge of the shredder system.
  4. Address minor mechanical issues with Eco Boom production machines.
  5. Lead the team towards production goals and rates.
  6. Train new boom operators on all job requirements within the Eco Boom work center.
  7. Act as a liaison between the boom work center and production leadership.
  8. React quickly to and resolve problems encountered during production.
  9. Adhere to New Pig’s Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  1. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and engage team members.
  2. Experience and/or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  3. Respectful attitude towards people, with the ability to provide positive feedback and encourage team members to achieve goals.
  4. Ability to operate various powered industrial trucks or willingness to be trained.
  5. Basic technical knowledge of New Pig products and processes.
