Job summary

SpecialtyCare is seeking an ECMO Specialist to operate and maintain ECMO circuits for patients requiring long-term pulmonary and/or cardiopulmonary support. You will follow standing ECMO orders and work under ECMO physician supervision in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities include initiating ECMO with the team, monitoring circuit integrity, adjusting pump and gas flows, managing anticoagulation and blood products, and communicating findings to the care team while upholding

Qualifications

• Cares for ECMO patients in ICU settings.
• Operates ECMO circuits and monitors parameters.
• Coordinates with physicians and perfusionists during ECMO.
• Supports safety and patient care through rounds and handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Assist initiation and weaning of ECMO and related therapies.
• Ensure circuit integrity and plan of care during rounds.
• Monitor anticoagulation, labs, and transfusions for ECMO patients.
• Maintain circuit safety during patient handling and flow adjustments.
