Job summary

St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado seeks an RN Program Coordinator to lead the ECMO program, oversee daily operations, and participate in accreditation efforts. You will build guidelines, supervise staff, and drive performance improvement while collaborating with medical teams and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Five (5) years of nursing experience in acute care.
• Two (2) years nursing experience in critical care.
• Experience with data analysis and performance improvement.
• Experience with program coordination.
• Advanced knowledge in nursing, evidence-based practice methods, and person-centeredcare concepts.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and requirements.
• Current state RN license for applicable state of employment or current RN license from a participating state in National Compact Licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.
• Certification in applicable professional clinical specialty or nursing administration upon hire or within six (6) months (such as CNML).

Responsibilities

• Provides coordination of the service line program, team and associated support staff to achieve and maintain desired quality and cost outcome goals.
• Provides consultative services to support assessment, nursing diagnoses, outcome identification, planning implementation and care coordination.
• Participates in performance improvement activities with medical, rehabilitation, nursing and leadership staff.
• Responsible for the coordination of quality and data abstraction related to the program.
• Develops protocols and order sets with physicians and presents before high-profile bodies.
