Job summary

Optima Medical Management Group seeks a capable LCM Supervisor to streamline department operations and uphold quality standards. You will perform clerical and administrative tasks while guiding staff to deliver excellent member care.

The role requires coordinating with the Site Manager, auditing quality, and supporting onboarding and training initiatives to drive performance and satisfaction across health plan partners.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory or management experience in a health care setting, including employee reviews and coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide and deliver timely performance evaluations.
  • Audit LCMs to ensure quality and contract standards.
  • Develop and implement corrective and quality improvement plans.
  • Identify staff training needs and coordinate with Site Manager.
  • Ensure members have timely access to care and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate systemic matters as needed.
  • Attend health plan training, webinars, and internal meetings.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and coordinate with HR.
  • Prepare meetings and provide administrative support.
  • Communicate effectively with offices, districts, and health system partners.
  • Assist in completing reports requested by Site Manager.

Job Summary

The LCM Supervisor facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits of each LCM to ensure quality assurance is met according to contract standards.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of corrective and quality improvement plans that contain content and strategies to address identified problem areas.
  • Identify the training needs of staff and communicate with the Site Manager to ensure proper training is provided.
  • Ensure members have an amazing experience including timely access to the care they need (appointments, visits, messages, and calls) and resolving their issues quickly, with minimal waste and friction.
  • Engage with the team to troubleshoot any technical issues, local problems, or escalating systemic matters to your manager or central teams.
  • Attend health plan training, webinars, internal meetings, continuing education.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires in coordination with Human Resources.
  • Manage meeting preparation, and other administrative support.
  • Manage communication, with context, between the offices and other districts and health system partnerships.
  • Aide in the completion of reports requested by the Site Manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years working in a professional Health Care environment as a supervisor or manager to include employee reviews, performance management, timekeeping, and coaching.
  • Prior experience in health care, case management, or Q&A preferred.
  • A valid Driver's License, reliable daily vehicle and active CA auto insurance are required.
Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to problem-solve and maintain confidential information.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must successfully complete and maintain current Tuberculosis (TB) testing and clearance in accordance with company policy and applicable local/state health regulations as a condition of employment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.

Pay range: $29 USD - $32.50 USD
