Job summary

Saint Mary's Regional Health System in Russellville, AR is seeking a skilled Echocardiology Technician to join our Imaging Services team on a PRN, as-needed basis. You will perform diagnostic echocardiograms, educate patients on procedures, ensure high-quality images, and collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnoses and patient outcomes.

This role requires an Associate's Degree and current BLS; echo registry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required
• Current BLS certification
• Echo Registry certification preferred; registry-eligible candidates must obtain certification within one year of employment
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiogram procedures according to established standards and protocols
• Review patient history and physician orders
• Educate and support patients throughout the exam process
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes
• Analyze image quality and obtain optimal diagnostic studies
• Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Document and communicate results accurately

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Echocardiology Technician to join our Imaging Services team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic echocardiograms, educate patients on procedures, ensure high-quality imaging, and work closely with physicians to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient outcomes.
