Job summary

Lifepoint Health’s Echocardiology Technician role in Hot Springs, AR, is a full-time position based at 1910 Malvern Ave. You’ll perform ECHO procedures, review histories, and educate patients while supporting high-quality imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Join a dedicated Cardiology Services team and contribute to accurate diagnoses. A strong emphasis is placed on patient safety, professionalism, and ongoing credentialing, including BLS and Echo Registry as preferred.

Qualifications

• Cardiac Sonography training required; carotid training and an Associate's Degree preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, high-stress clinical environments.
• BLS certification required.
• Echo Registry certification preferred; registry-eligible candidates considered (must obtain within one year)

Responsibilities

• Perform ECHO procedures in alignment with professional standards, working closely with physicians and clinical staff.
• Review patient histories, educating patients on procedures, preparing and administering contrast media when ordered, and continually monitoring patient status.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensure safety and quality control, analyze imaging results, and take action to resolve any quality issues.
• Enter and transmit reports and scan results with accuracy and efficiency.

Schedule: Full Time | M-F | 0630 - 1700 | 50/50 call nights and weekends
