Job summary

LifeBridge Health, including Carroll Hospital in Westminster, MD, seeks an Echocardiographer to perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiographic procedures in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. You will provide ultrasound imaging for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients while contributing to exceptional cardiovascular care within a specialized cardiac setting.

This role supports advanced cardiac procedures (TAVR, LAAO, TEE) and offers opportunities to work closely with physicians

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program required.
  • 1-3 years of echocardiography or cardiac imaging experience required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • RCS, RDCS, RCIS, or RCES credential preferred.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic echocardiographic procedures including transthoracic, transesophageal (TEE), exercise stress echo, and Dobutamine stress echo.
  • Support advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR and LAAO; perform imaging and obtain diagnostic measurements for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
  • Prepare patients and provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging experience.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnostic interpretation and patient care.
  • Present diagnostic images and pertinent patient information for physician interpretation.
  • Assist physicians and clinical staff regarding technical aspects of diagnostic testing as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

Call coverage is required.

  • Perform diagnostic echocardiographic procedures including transthoracic, transesophageal (TEE), exercise stress echo, and Dobutamine stress echo
  • Support advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR and LAAO Perform imaging and obtain diagnostic measurements for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
  • Prepare patients and provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging experience

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED required Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program required 1-3 years of echocardiography or cardiac imaging experience required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required RCS, RDCS, RCIS, or RCES credential preferred Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification required within 6 months of hire

Pay Range: $45.00 to $45.00
