Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in La Grange, IL, seeks a skilled cardiac imaging technologist to perform exams, set up equipment, and support physicians in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will uphold safety and quality standards, engage in routine QC, and contribute to patient care with compassionate service. BLS CPR and ARD/RDS/RCS/RVT certifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ year hospital experience preferred.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• ARDs/RVS/RCS/RVT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjust all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists physicians in various imaging procedures.
• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency.
