Job Description - ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY TECHNICIAN- Heart Station- Pool- Jeanes Campus (253239)

Performs quality echocardiograms for maximum results and performs various echocardiography studies on patients under the direction of a Cardiologist. Gathers and documents appropriate data and reports probable findings to appropriate physicians. Successfully transmits study to viewing station for Cardiologist interpretation. Works closely with cardiologist to ensure all studies are within Cardiologist expectations. Performs all study charges and retrieves reports as requested by referring physicians.

Education
Other : Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular or Ultra-Sonography program. (Required)

Experience
1 Year experience in a Echocardiography Laboratory (Required)

License/Certifications
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
CARDCI - Cardiovascular Cred Intl (Preferred)
RCS - Reg Cardiac Sonographer (Preferred)
RDCS - Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer (Preferred)
RDMS - Reg Diag Medical Sonographer (Preferred)
